Dispensation of the AGES TOo COME (Ephesians 2:7)
With the catching away of the Body of Christ, the deliverance from the wrath to come (I Thessalonians 1:10; 5:9), the closure of the parenthetical BUT NOW Mystery Dispensation of Grace, the prophetic Kingdom Program will be resumed
24 to finish the transgression, to make an end of sins, to make reconciliation for iniquity, to bring in everlasting righteousness, to seal up the vision and prophecy, and to anoint the most Holy (Daniel 9:24).
In the AGES TO COME, the favored nation, Israel, will go through a dark time during the first phase of a time called the Day of the Lord, described in the prophetical teaching of the scriptures (Isaiah 13:6-13).
During a period of seven years of tribulation, it will be difficult to find the Word of God (Amos 8:11-12).
Those going through the Tribulation will be guided by their study of the scripture, Hebrews through Revelation, which will provoke them to be bound together in love, to stand together without wavering, and do good works (Hebrews 10:24) while suffering persecution.
6 Howl ye; for the day of the LORD is at hand; it shall come as a destruction from the Almighty.
7 Therefore shall all hands be faint, and every man's heart shall melt:
8 And they shall be afraid: pangs and sorrows shall take hold of them; they shall be in pain as a woman that travaileth: they shall be amazed one at another; their faces shall be as flames.
9 Behold, the day of the LORD cometh, cruel both with wrath and fierce anger, to lay the land desolate: and he shall destroy the sinners thereof out of it.
10 For the stars of heaven and the constellations thereof shall not give their light: the sun shall be darkened in his going forth, and the moon shall not cause her light to shine.
11 And I will punish the world for their evil, and the wicked for their iniquity; and I will cause the arrogancy of the proud to cease, and will lay low the haughtiness of the terrible.
12 I will make a man more precious than fine gold; even a man than the golden wedge of Ophir.
13 Therefore I will shake the heavens, and the earth shall remove out of her place, in the wrath of the LORD of hosts, and in the day of his fierce anger (Isaiah 13:6-13).
22 And except those days should be shortened, there should no flesh be saved: but for the elect's sake those days shall be shortened (Matthew 24:22).
1 Blow ye the trumpet in Zion, and sound an alarm in my holy mountain: let all the inhabitants of the land tremble: for the day of the LORD cometh, for it is nigh (Joel 2:1).
18 Woe unto you that desire the day of the LORD! to what end is it for you? the day of the LORD is darkness, and not light (Amos 5:13).
