Prophesied New Covenant: Page 28

Prophesied New Covenant

24 And I the Lord will be their God, and my servant David a prince among them; I the Lord have spoken it.

25 And I will make with them a Covenant of Peace, and will cause the evil beasts to cease out of the land:  and they shall dwell safely in the wilderness, and sleep in the woods.

26 And I will make them and the places round about my hill a blessing; and I will cause the shower to come down in his season; there shall be showers of blessing.

27 And the tree of the field shall yield her fruit, and the earth shall yield her increase, and they shall be safe in their land, and shall know that I am the LORD, when I have broken the bands of their yoke, and delivered them out of the hand of those that served themselves of them.

28 And they shall no more be a prey to the heathen, neither shall the beast of the land devour them; but they shall dwell safely, and none shall make them afraid.

29 And I will raise up for them a plant of renown, and they shall be no more consumed with hunger in the land, neither bear the shame of the heathen anymore.

30 Thus shall they know that I the LORD their God am with them, and that they, even the house of Israel, are my people, saith the Lord GOD.

31 And ye my flock, the flock of my pasture, are men, and I am your God, saith the Lord GOD (Ezekiel 34:24-31).

27 When I have brought them again from the people, and gathered them out of their enemies' lands, and am sanctified in them in the sight of many nations;

28 Then shall they know that I am the Lord their God, which caused them to be led into captivity among the heathen:  but I have gathered them unto their own land, and have left none of them anymore there.

29 Neither will I hide my face any more from them: for I have poured out my spirit upon the house of Israel, saith the Lord GOD (Ezekiel 39:27-29).

16 The LORD also shall roar out of Zion, and utter his voice from Jerusalem; and the heavens and the earth shall shake: but the LORD will be the hope of his people, and the strength of the children of Israel.

17 So shall ye know that I am the LORD your God dwelling in Zion, my holy mountain: then shall Jerusalem be holy, and there shall no strangers pass through her anymore.

18 And it shall come to pass in that day, that the mountains shall drop down new wine, and the hills shall flow with milk, and all the rivers of Judah shall flow with waters, and a fountain shall come forth of the house of the LORD, and shall water the valley of Shittim (Joel 3:16-18).

20 Thus saith the LORD of hosts; It shall yet come to pass, that there shall come people, and the inhabitants of many cities:

21 And the inhabitants of one city shall go to another, saying, Let us go speedily to pray before the LORD, and to seek the LORD of hosts: I will go also.

22 Yea, many people and strong nations shall come to seek the LORD of hosts in Jerusalem, and to pray before the LORD.

23 Thus saith the LORD of hosts; In those days it shall come to pass, that ten men shall take hold out of all languages of the nations, even shall take hold of the skirt of him that is a Jew, saying, We will go with you: for we have heard that God is with you (Zechariah 8:20-23).

For 2000 years, under the Abrahamic Covenant, the Nation of Israel was God’s agent to the Gentiles.

In the AGES TO COME, during the Tribulation period and in the Millennium, God’s chosen people will resume this position under the New Covenant.

1 For Zion's sake will I not hold my peace, and for Jerusalem's sake I will not rest, until the righteousness thereof go forth as brightness, and the salvation thereof as a lamp that burneth.

2 And the Gentiles shall see thy righteousness, and all kings thy glory: and thou shalt be called by a new name, which the mouth of the LORD shall name.

3 Thou shalt also be a crown of glory in the hand of the LORD, and a royal diadem in the hand of thy God.

4 Thou shalt no more be termed Forsaken; neither shall thy land any more be termed Desolate: but thou shalt be called Hephzibah, and thy land Beulah: for the LORD delighteth in thee, and thy land shall be married (Isaiah 62:1-4).

6 I the LORD have called thee in righteousness, and will hold thine hand, and will keep thee, and give thee for a covenant of the people, for a light of the Gentiles;

7 To open the blind eyes, to bring out the prisoners from the prison, and them that sit in darkness out of the prison house (Isaiah 42:6-7).

6 And the Gentiles shall come to thy light, and kings to the brightness of thy rising (Isaiah 60:3).

6b I will also give thee for a light to the Gentiles, that thou mayest be my salvation unto the end of the earth (Isaiah 49:6b).

19 Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and in the Holy Ghost (Matthew 28:19).

8 Ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth (Acts 1:8b).

14 And this Gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come (Matthew 24:14).

The prophesied New Covenant is the unconditional doctrine of the Kingdom Program of peace and blessings.

God would make His name known in Jerusalem and at a future time, One, from the line of David, would sit in Jerusalem on the throne in the earthly kingdom.

His name would be The LORD OUR RIGHTEOUSNESS.

God will gather His people out of all nations and they will know that He is their God.

On them will He pour out His Spirit. Many nations and people shall seek the Lord of host in Jerusalem through this Kingdom of Priests.

In Ezekiel, chapters 40-48, Ezekiel prophesied that in the AGES TOo COME, in the kingdom on earth, Israel’s priesthood will once more be active.

He gives the design and dimensions of the Millennial Temple, with a river that flows forth from the temple (Ezekiel 47:1-23), and in chapters 45, 47, and 48, future tribal allotments of the land in the future Israel.

Many of Israel’s prophecies were fulfilled during Jesus’s ministry, but many are still futuristic.

Prophesies were for the Kingdom Saints in the prophetic program.

They were not directed to the members of the Body of Christ, but they are written for the learning, that we through patience and comfort of the scriptures might have hope (Romans 15:4).

For us in this present day BUT NOW Dispensation of Grace we can rest in knowing that God has been keeping His promises to Israel and we can rest in Him who will keep His promises to us.

20 For all the promises of God in him are yea, and in him Amen, unto the glory of God by us (II Corinthians 1:20).

In Times Past, God had not prophesied this mystery dispensation, but now His secret has been revealed.

For now, the prophesies that have not been fulfilled to the Nation of Israel have been postponed until God has fulfilled His promise to the church the Body of Christ, the catching away.

This event will mark the end to the present But Now Dispensation of Grace.
