The Mosaic Covenant: Page 20

19 And I will break the pride of your power; and I will make your heaven as iron, and your earth as brass:

20 And your strength shall be spent in vain: for your land shall not yield her increase, neither shall the trees of the land yield their fruits.

21 And if ye walk contrary unto me, and will not hearken unto me; I will bring seven times more plagues upon you according to your sins.

27 And if ye will not for all this hearken unto me, but walk contrary unto me;

28 Then I will walk contrary unto you also in fury; and I, even I, will chastise you seven times for your sins.

33 And I will scatter you among the heathen, and will draw out a sword after you: and your land shall be desolate, and your cities waste (Leviticus 26:3-7, 14-21, 27-28, 33).

1 And it shall come to pass, if thou shalt hearken diligently unto the voice of the Lord thy God, to observe and to do all his commandments which I command thee this day, that the Lord thy God will set thee on high above all nations of the earth:

2 And all these blessings shall come on thee, and overtake thee, if thou shalt hearken unto the voice of the Lord thy God.

15 But it shall come to pass, if thou wilt not hearken unto the voice of the Lord thy God, to observe to do all his commandments and his statutes which I command thee this day; that all these curses shall come upon thee, and overtake thee (Deuteronomy 28: 1-2, 15).

Cursed be he that confirmeth not all the words of this law to do them. And all the people shall say, Amen (Deuteronomy 27:26).

While in the wilderness, four hundred and thirty years after God had established the Abrahamic Covenant, Moses received from God ,the Old Mosaic Covenant, an extensive list of moral and civil laws, two tables of testimony, the Ten Commandments (Exodus 31:18; Deuteronomy 4:13; Acts 7:38) and a tabernacle design (Exodus 25:9, 40; Acts 7:44), a foreshadowing of when Christ will be the true climactic high priest from heaven (Hebrews 8:2-5, 9:2-26) and ceremonial aspects for means of atonement, including a blood sacrificial system (Leviticus 1-17).
