Even with the prophesied knowledge of the future seven-year period of the wrath of God, the nation had a spotted history of rebelling against God, their prophets, seeking other gods, and not fulfilling their commission to be a light to the world, to bring the Gentiles to God..

Prophets prophesied of a New Covenant, a future kingdom on earth.

The Nation of Israel would be ministers of God, a Nation of Priests and would bring the Gentiles to God.

The Gentiles would feed their flocks and serve them.

Ten Gentiles would grab hold of the garment of a Jew and he would bring them up to God in Jerusalem.

Truth shall spring out of the earth; and righteousness shall look down from heaven (Psalm 85:11).

When John the Baptist and Jesus and the twelve apostles were introduced in the Gospel accounts, they continued to preach the Gospel of the Kingdom—the Gospel of the Circumcision—and that Jesus was the Christ, the Son of the living God.

If the Nation of Israel would repent, be identified with Jesus and His little flock through baptism by water, Spirit, and fire, they would receive their long-awaited kingdom on earth.

The degree to which they kept the Mosaic Law—the Old Covenant—would determine their degree of reward, their position in the kingdom.

Both John and Jesus warned the hypocritical scribes and Pharisees and Sadducees, asking them, how do you think you can escape so great a damnation?—a time when the angels would separate the chaff from the wheat and burn the chaff with unquenchable fire.

After the death, burial, resurrection and ascension of Jesus, Peter re-offered the Kingdom again in Acts 2, scolding the Jews for having killed their Messiah.

In Acts 7, Stephen, filled with the Holy Spirit, reiterated to the Jerusalem Council how the Nation of Israel had rejected God the Father, their prophets, God the Son, and continued to resist the Holy Spirit.

They stoned Stephen. As he looked toward heaven, he could see Jesus standing at the right hand of God, standing to judge the Nation of Israel, and at this time God temporarily postponed establishing the prophesied kingdom program.

Shortly after this harsh judgment was placed on the Nation of Israel, the risen Jesus Christ spoke to Saul from heaven while Saul possessed papers which had signed consent from the Jerusalem Council for him to round up and jail members of the Kingdom Church, the faithful remnant, the little flock.

The risen Lord told Saul that He would suffer great things while being sent to the Jews, kings, and the Gentiles in this BUT NOW dispensation.

God would now send this new apostle to preach a new message of grace, called The Mystery, a message that God had kept secret from Satan, from the angelic realm, and from man.

God changed Saul’s name to Paul.

He received this new Gospel of the Un-circumcision and this new message according to the Revelation of the Mystery from the risen Lord Jesus Christ.
